Welcome to the Maysville R-1 Junior High & High School Counseling Page. My goal is to be a resource for my students academically, personally/socially, as well as vocationally. I have been in education for 18 years; I spent my first 17 years teaching math at both the high school and middle school levels and transitioned to school counseling last year. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in School Counseling through Northwest Missouri State University and am looking forward to graduating in May 2025.
In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, cooking, and gardening. I also enjoy spending time and traveling with my husband or attending Sporting Kansas City soccer games with my mom.

Counseling Resources:
We are really excited about a truly fantastic opportunity for not only our students, but their families and staff as well. Through Northwest Health Services we currently have access to FREE Behavioral Health Services. If you are interested in learning more please reach out either by phone or email. This is an incredible resource that we are excited to share and I hope to see many make use of it.
